Greenwood Hotel - North Sydney

Insufferably loud music on a Sunday night. It was excellent when it stopped. I would highly suggest avoiding this venue like the plague!!!!!

Horrible music venue. They screwed up and made De La Soul come on late and then they cut them off at midnight after 1 song. Would never go there for a show again.

Had a vege burger for lunch- it was alright but the bun was a bit dry and you only get a few fries. We had a table outside, it was very cold with no heaters provided. I would come back for a drink as the place has a nice vibe but not for the burger.

North Sydney legend. Whether it's drinks for the officeworkers or Thursday nights for the uni students wearing next to nothing, the Greenwood has long played a part in people's social lives. Have eaten here sporadically over the years and while competent, the food has been a little underwhelming. Ate here several times more recently - had the fish and chips which was fine. They've just done a little renovation out the back to add a new seating area and slightly expanded the menu as well. Had the pulled pork burger there and actually thought this was pretty good especially with the included chips. There's tables in the front then quite a few more out the back for a longish stay and drinks.

Another popular pub in North Sydney, this one at the top of Greenwood Plaza. Have been here on a number of occasions, found the food a bit hit & miss at times, but we didn't eat this time, just drinks. The courtyard outdoor is nice, found the indoor a bit too dark & isolated for a group. Overall not a bad venue for drinks.
