Can’t beat the fish cake and chips, sometimes a wait but brilliant COVID precautions in place. Nice clean and friendly staff. All round canny chippy

The fish and chips from here used to be excellent, in fact award winning, but of late they have gone right back, poor quality fish masked by thick batter which means it’s over cooked, the chips are also scabby, I’ve been a glutton for punishment, going back three times thinking this time they will be back to their award winning ways, but no they have not. So I won’t be going back as I’m sure £10 for large fish and chips could be s better spent elsewhere, just not sure where yet.

This is now the 3rd time I’ve ordered online form Sidhu’s and every time the delivery time has been ridiculous. I ordered my food (not a large order by any means) at 6pm and after checking out on line the estimated delivery time was 89 minutes! It was 2hrs by the the time my food arrived. I got the impression that if I hadn’t phoned up to complain I would have still been waiting the following night. When I phoned up to complain saying that 2hrs wasn’t acceptable the lady who answered was giggling down the phone for some reason! I ordered a kebab with side salad and it literally had 6 shreds of red cabbage in it with a thimble amount of garlic sauce. Very disappointed as generally the food is good when collecting. I’ll never be ordering online or via the phone again from here. Not good enough.

Called after a works emergency needed lunch for 30 colleges at very short notice and Sidhus pulled out all the stops even delivered for free. Thank you would recommend.
