The food is always good and served quickly and there's quite often deals on the drinks or menu if you're signed up for their newsletter. Kids menu is great, covers the basics and has 2 price options for children over or under 6 years old. Its not fine dining but it's comforting pub grub and always fills us up nicely. Parking available at the rear of the pub and there's some outdoor seats available which are great when it's sunny. They also have lots of TVs to watch sport, not my thing but lots of people do enjoy it.
This pub is pretty good, but it's just not my cup of tea. Visiting on a Saturday evening when sports were being shown on TV was probably not the best time unless you're looking to watch the game and be part of the crowd. It was just too noisy for my liking. Even in the farthest corner of the room, it was hard to have a conversation with the person next to me. I personally thought the drinks were a bit pricey, £11.30 for a beer and a glass of wine. Local bars offer drinks much cheaper than this. However, the staff were friendly and there wasn't any rowdiness.
The charming village pub is a favorite spot for locals, with friendly staff and a warm welcome from regular customers.
Everything was excellent - the service, the atmosphere. The only issue was that the steak was slightly dry when ordered medium rare. However, all the other meals were perfect.
Improve the menu to much fast food no healthy food on menu and hot dinners fresh vegetables etc mince and dumplings sausage and mash
