However, I want to give a heads-up to anyone planning a special occasion at this restaurant: it’s best to call and speak with someone directly. The online reservation system didn’t seem to communicate our requests effectively. My husband had made the reservation two or three weeks in advance and noted that we were celebrating our anniversary. He requested a table with a view and asked for a glass of champagne for each of us upon being seated. Unfortunately, we never received any confirmation about these requests, but he didn't think much of it at the time. About halfway through our meal, the waiter came by to check on us, and I mentioned that they seemed unaware of our anniversary or our champagne request. He appeared quite surprised and said he had no information about that. Before leaving, we made sure to speak with the manager to inform her that Joey's online system needs improvement. If you’re celebrating a special occasion, it might be safer to either stop by in advance or call to speak with someone in person. While the food and service were good, I have to give them three stars for failing to address our online request. We spent over $200 on dinner and wine, so I felt it was fair to share this feedback.

The food at Joey is good, but the atmosphere and service are what really make this review stand out. Our server, Oliver, was an outstanding English gentleman who provided exceptional service. He was attentive to our needs and assisted us in selecting the perfect bottles of wine to pair with our steak dinner. Oliver's engaging conversation added to the experience for both my guests and me. I highly recommend this location, and if you're fortunate, you might have the pleasure of having Oliver as your server!

I have visited Joey Shipyards nearly a hundred times over the past two years since I moved into the building next door. The service is consistently excellent, and the food and drinks are outstanding. My most recent visit with my daughter was one of the highlights. Klara was our server on the upstairs patio, and both my daughter and I were truly impressed by her cheerful demeanor and professionalism. Staff members like Klara ensure that I will continue to return as a satisfied customer for many years ahead.

Not your regular Joey’s.My boyfriend and I were blown away by our patio view during 8-9pm sunset. The food was so so good and our waiter was extremely nice to accommodate us with a prime patio spot. We got the steak and ravioli combo and it was out of this world.

We had such an awesome time. Coming from the US, we met a Canadian friend there. She had never been, and it was my husbands first time. We were given champagne when we entered, and we asked for a view of the water. We had reservations, so we were seated almost immediately. The view was awesome! Our server, Kate H. was awesome. A few other people who helped to make our experience enjoyable were, Chelsea, the Night Manager, Lauren the Hostess, who took multiple pictures for us and even suggested champagne in the pictures (which made them even better). And Jill, we're unsure what Jill's position is, but we were heading into a wrong area and she kindly directed us to the right place. Later, she saw us and stopped by to see how everything was going. We were there for 3 hours, had every course and 2 desserts. Our first dessert took longer than expected, so they comped us a second one while we waited. Great experience and we'll be going back again. This review is our way of saying, Thank you!
