Little Tokyo Sushi - North Vancouver

I was in the mood for sushi and stumbled upon this restaurant at Lonsdale Quay while heading back to the seabus. Little Tokyo is a small restaurant that offers both dine-in and take-out options. I was pleasantly surprised by the extensive menu, considering the size of the restaurant. I decided to order the Salmon and Tuna Sashimi Don as well as the Spicy Tuna roll with tempura shrimp and avocado. The sashimi was fresh and the roll was tasty. I would definitely return to this place when I'm in the area at Lonsdale.

Crunch Roll. It has yam and prawn tempuras, and some crispies go on top of the roll with spicy mayo and teriyaki sauce. I loved the crunchy texture and taste.

The food and service at Little Tokyo are both excellent. This sushi restaurant in North Vancouver is one of the best for its price. Conveniently located next to the seabus, it's a perfect spot for a quick and delicious lunch. The service is friendly and the food is of high quality. The sashimi is particularly fresh and delicious.

Before visiting, you may be hesitant after reading some negative reviews. However, most of those reviews were written before 2009, when the ownership of the restaurant changed. I am grateful that I didn't let those outdated reviews discourage me from trying this place out. Based on my recent visits, I highly recommend giving it a try. Just don't all rush there at once... I wouldn't mind keeping this hidden gem to myself a little while longer.

Often do take out so you could say I'm a regular with an office nearby.
