Rice And Noodle - North Vancouver

Got the chicken pad Thai, spice level 5 and it was great. Only thing is, I ordered level 5 as I thought it would be medium. I was wrong about this and realized I should’ve read the sign which says 5 is pretty spicy that’s a fault of my own.

Love this restaurant. Reasonable price great taste. Creamy Peanut Stirfry is my favourite one. This restaurant gives ease and comforts. Simple menu makes decision easier, and the presentation and description of the menu are clear and easy to read.

They offer a really affordable meal. I usually get the Tom Yum which is only around $10. It's a good deal and fills you up. Usually I can have lots left over. I have tried their Pad Thai and Pad See Ew which are both very tasty, except I'm not as big of a fan of their Pad Thai as it is too sweet for me. Really nice service too where they bring the food to you, although you have to go get your utensils yourself.

As a customer and a food delivery driver, I used to enjoy the service and food at Rice and Noodle. However, lately I have noticed a decline in quality. As a customer, I have some concerns but speaking for the delivery drivers, the service was amazing 1-2 years ago. It seems that the current staff members lack care and attention. I wanted to bring this to the attention of the Management. I understand that the staff may be busy during peak hours, but it is important to find a solution rather than overworking the employees. I hope this issue is taken seriously.

While the food at this restaurant was delicious, I must warn others about the discrepancy in prices between ordering online and in-store. For example, the pineapple fried rice with chicken is priced at $12.68 in-store, but I was charged $18.38 for ordering online. I tried to call the restaurant multiple times, but no one answered, which is why I resorted to ordering online. If I had known about the price difference beforehand, I would have ordered in-store even while at work. Additionally, I decided to skip the spring rolls as $4.25 for 2 rolls seemed overly expensive for a takeout order. Despite the tasty and fresh food, I couldn't fully enjoy my meal as I felt like I had been overcharged.
