The Village Table - North Vancouver

My friend and I chose this restaurant to celebrate a birthday. However, we were disappointed to find that there were only two entree options left, and the food took a long time to arrive. The drinks took even longer. Overall, the meal did not impress us at all. We felt it wasn't worth the visit! We had hoped for a great experience given the reputation of the place, but unfortunately, we will not be returning.

I was disappointed twice during my visit. The service was slow, and both the drinks and food were overpriced. It's a nice place, but if you’re looking for good cooking, you might want to reconsider. I would recommend Ingrain instead; it’s just around the corner and much better. Honestly, I’d rather spend $110 somewhere else than return to this place.

We had the dine out menu and I was very happy with my meal. the presentation of food could have been better and the steak should have rested longer, but overall we had a great time.

I had a wonderful dinner here to celebrate a milestone birthday. The restaurant is small but offers a decent wine selection. The prix fixe menu had plenty of options, and the portion sizes were just right. Every dish was full of amazing flavors, including the gluten-free chocolate cake, which was the first one I'd ever tried. I found it so delicious that I wished I could have a second piece, but then again, that might be pushing it at my age!

Enjoyed Taco Tuesday. $10 for three tacos- Shrimp, cod or salmon. Very filling and delicious. Our son had a big burger and fries and was very satisfied. Overall a real gem in our neighbourhood.
