The cursed shrimps were amazing. This was a new dish for our taste buds and it ended our favorite. Very attentive service and the rest of the 4 dishes we order were all delicious. We have Vaades as a place to return and will share it with friends. The only bottom is their high demand take service that creates more traffic in their restaurant.
Food was excellent and service was great. My only complaint is that there was no air conditioning and it was a very hot day. Otherwise, a great meal and I'll be back if it's not hot outside!
Great food; best on north shore Indian. Great service; we love the wine of the place; the only complain is that it’s too cold inside so u have to sit in your jacket right until the end of your meal !
We wanted flavour and heat on a snowy Vancouver day and headed for Vaades which has free parking right out front. Signage and people were welcoming, informative and clearly CoVid-compliant. We liked the music but were very glad that we could have a quiet conversation without needing to raise our voices. There were few dining in, but the steady stream of take-out orders was impressive. We didn't have specific dishes in mind when we came and were inspired by the Dine-Out Vancouver menu, with its choices for a three-course menu, $28/person. We sampled the Crunchy Okra which was flavourful and hearty, although not particularly crunchy. We also enjoyed our four crispy king prawns before our fragrant, hearty curries: Methi Chicken in its creamy fresh fenugreek and Pistachio Lamb with cardamon. We were disappointed with the small serving of Rasgulla, especially since it was so tasty in its rose syrop, but the large portion of chocolate cake with ice-cream was rich and warm. All staff were attentive, friendly and quick to serve us, including the addition of our take-away order of butter chicken. We will definitely be back!
