Umberto's Restaurant - Wantagh

My family of four had a belated Mother's Day dinner on Wednesday, June 8th. This was our first time at this location. The entrees were just average. We ordered appetizers (wings, capellini bites and stuffed mushrooms); the best of the three were the wings. The bites and mushrooms were not at all tasty. Our dessert choices were delicious (tartufo, chocolate cake and tiramisu). It was a very busy night yet we were not rushed. Our server was attentive and accommodating. The best part of our evening was not only our reunion, but the ambience; it was magnificent! The accordion player provided us with nonintrusive music and although the dining room was full to capacity, there was a romantic setting aura about. For these latter reasons we would again make the trip into Wantagh (we live in Medford).

Awesome as usual,always consistent, great staff ,friendly ,attentive, clean, priced right. Great Chef.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and the service was excellent.

As usual, we had another fine meal at Umberto's. The food was excellent and perfectly prepared. The manager, hostess, waiters and wait staff are wonderful, friendly and efficient people who making dining out all the more enjoyable.
