Oliver Brown - The Strand Townsville

Had brunch here with my wife and two friends. Definitely can recommend this place because of the friendly, efficient service and good food. Great waffles and smoothies !

Had the pleasure of having breakfast here . Very attentive staff. Fast service for meals. Delicious food. Coffee on point . Thankyou for a lovely dining experience.

Nice place with lovely sweet and savoury food. The baby chino’s were a hit with my kids and the atmosphere of the restaurant was nice and relaxing.

Disappointing..first time visit here from out of town...visiting locals who tried to book a table for a busy Sunday morning but couldn’t as they don’t take bookings... very hot for us even though only October...was offered a table in the sun ...Jamie was clearly put...out when we asked for a table inside...this said she didn’t explain anything...after mins I asked for some water...she explained there was a water station ...ok fine..we got water...we didn’t realise no ordering/table service ... Took us a while to realise ...ordered at counter... food was good bacon eggs Benedict , breakfast burgers smashed avo...my coffee was cold..staff were unhappy with dirty uniforms ...music very loud...possibly so you don’t linger

Oliver Brown was my favourite cafe for breakfast on the Strand. Very busy in the mornings, but never have to wait long for a place. The staff is good-humoured and friendly. The food is excellent and plenty of it. Everything from a pot of tea...and toast, to a full Aussie breakfast. I mostly had the eggs and bacon with all the trimmings....hash brown, grilled tomatoes, etc. The seating area is very large, both outside on the terrace or inside, but all with great water views. OB`s is open everyday, including Sundays.
