This would have been a five except the service which started good but ended waiting longer for the check than it took for the food to come out. Also the check itself had mine and another table which took even longer. I had to take my kids to the car and leave my wife it took so long and let her deal with it and still wasn't done car seats and all. I will say the food was so good that my daughter who only eats chicken tenders and fries not only order and ate the fajitas, she wanted them for a week straight!!!
Nice spacious place with available outdoor sitting. It used to be Margarita's restaurant, now it is called Ocho Cafe. Very good food, excellent service, clean, beautiful athmosphere. Highly recommended! ???? I wish we were not in a rush and could stay longer. Definitely is very comfortable and enjoyable to be there!
I?ve eaten here three times so far. It is definitely my favorite Mexican food in the area. The customer service is wonderful the restaurant is very cute inside and spacious. They have a large outdoor seating area they added since Covid. They have really delicious margaritas especially the top shelf margaritas. The moly sauce is amazing the Korean barbecue tacos are delicious. Pretty much everything I?ve had is wonderful.
Came here with my wife on Saturday evening and it was built full thankfully. They sat us down in a booth. We were taken cared of quickly and we just ordered our dinner and some margaritas. My wife had the carnitas tacos which were a mouthful and very filling. She could only funish two and I barely ate the second one. I orderd the Criminal Combo fajitas. It came with chicken and beef strips, tortillas, rice and beans, sourcream, shredded cheese, guac, and onions and peppers. The food came out really fast that it surprised us. My wife also ordered a frozen watermelon margarita which was very sweet even for her and was just watermelon flavoring with tequila. I ordered the Ghost Margarita which was made with Ghost Peppe infused Tequila, jalapeños, agave nectar, and triple sec. The first round was spicier than the second but they were both really good and I will be replicating this at home! The food was ok, I've had better, and I wished they had louder music. The atmosphere was nice tho with the string lights and colorful decor. I highly recommend is you're in Weymouth and try the Ghost Margarita!
This Mexican restaurant is a hidden gem! The decorations, the music and the cozy atmosphere is right on point. For a sec, I thought I was in Mexico. Our Waiter Carlos and his crew were also very nice and courteous! Their lunch menu entrée is a bargain. My 2 soft tacos (Pork Carnitas Taco Tempura Fish Taco), served with rice, charro beans, and citrus chipotle slaw, only $10! All tacos are freshly made, and hand stretched from yellow corn tortilla. So fresh and soft! Hubby's Chicken Fajitas Hawaiian served with red rice, charro beans, pico de gallo, sour cream, guacamole, warmed homemade tortillas, $12, was also delicious. The portions were generous. Love the fact that their food are served on a super HOT plate.
