Nando's - North York Industiral

Super nice staff. I just love going there. Try at least one meal every week. Like the prompt service and quality of the food.Nando's keeps on coming with great offers and is easy on pocket. My favs quarter Chicken(leg thigh) spiced rice chardonnay 5 oz. Just love it!

It was lunchtime on Saturday and we had just finished at another store in this small plaza, and we noticed Nando's, so in we went. If you are dining in at Nando's a host will seat you and give you menus, but you order your food at the counter and pay in advance. Pay attention to your table number before you go and order. Cutlery, straws, sauces, dressings are self serve, beside the main counter. <br/ <br/ We both ordered their 1/4 Chicken Breast and Wing. SWMBO had hers with the Lemon Herb sauce and a side of Casa Salad, and I had the Medium Peri Peri sauce with Peri Peri Fries. Just enough heat to notice, which was enough for me. A decent lunch for both of us.

Nando's is one of my favourite places. The chicken and the way they marinate it is very different from what we are used to. And of course the peri-peri sauce makes it so unique. I tried Nando's in Dubai and it was great. I loved it and wanted to come more and more, but unfortunately, can't tell the same thing about locations in Toronto. It's good, but not as good as it is abroad. The only reason I rated it low is because after our dinner I felt very bad. I still don't know if it was the chicken :

Tasty chicken but overpriced. Ordered from kids menu for my daughter and she was looking forward to the dessert-frozen yogurt but they didn't have any. But still charged the full kids menu price. They weren't even willing to substitute it with anything..not even a drink which wasn't included in the kids combo menu! What kind of kids combo menu doesn't include a drink??

Since it was my first visit to Nando’s, I chose the mild option — lemon herb. It was actually so good! The chicken was seasoned slightly for maximum flavour, juicy and tender, moist, and just so good!
