The food here is delicious. I just wish they would understand that not all customers enjoy cilantro. Particularly when a customer requests no cilantro, it should not be included in their dishes.
I ordered the satay braised beef mac cheese and the satay fries. Both were delicious. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant was clean.
I had my first experience dining at this restaurant and was pleasantly surprised. They serve street food from Vietnam, Thailand, and other countries. The portion sizes were decent and I really enjoyed the flavors. You have the option to dine inside at a few tables or outside on the street patio. The prices are a bit higher than average, but considering the location, it's understandable.
We were disappointed with our meal at this restaurant. We ordered double fried chicken over fries but received it over rice instead. The rice was soggy and mushy. The shrimp fried rice appeared to have been sitting in the box for a while, as it lacked flavor and the rice was very mushy and soggy. The wait for our food was quite long, and the restaurant got busier after we ordered because of the delay in preparation. The person who took our order seemed confused about whether we wanted takeout or dine-in, and despite the food being ready, took a long time to pack it. Overall, we were not satisfied with our experience and would not dine here again. We preferred when Basil Box was here, as the options were better. The prices seemed high for the poor quality of food, and we were unsure if we were charged correctly for our meal. The employee seemed unsure when entering our order, adding to our dissatisfaction.
