Contribuisci feedbackTHIS IS AN HONEST REVIEW. Came here due to positive reviews but was completely disappointed.I don't expect much from this place but the least they can do is provide customer service. Walked in on a Sunday afternoon and no one was eating at the restaurant. The server was in the kitchen talking to someone. We waited 5 mins and still didn't get any service so we decided to leave. The server had the audacity to come out to the parking lot and ask us if we wanted to dine in. Are you serious?! Spend your money elsewhere since this restaurant doesn't need it.
Not bad but quite greasy. Don't order the fried noodles pork if you want to avoid oily foods. However it is tasty with a kick since they use some jalapenos in it. Dumplings are good and fresh. But again, still greasy esp if pan fried. But I mean, you want the crunch! The beef pancake wrap thing was very good probably the best thing we ordered. The place was deserted. Not many people dining or taking out. The staff was in the kitchen the entire time cooking for who, not sure lol. We had to yell out to cash out. Order came out relatively quick. Very filling. One thing I did notice was the vinegar containers were very sticky. Just be mindful and use napkins to pour. Good for a quick fix but there are other dumpling spots to go.
I lived in Northern China for 2.5 years and this restaurant is the real deal. Authentic Jiao zi (dumplings) bao zi (steamed buns) that are well priced and delicious. The Xiao long bao (soup dumplings) were the highlight. The service was attentative and prompt, much like back in China. If this restaurant was down the street from me, it would become a weekly visit. If you're newish to Chinese food, you will find this restaurant's offerings approachable and comforting.
Ok I don’t know where to start this review. The constant loud coughing coming from the kitchen during the pandemic, or the worst taste of the food I’ve had for a really long time, or the 30-min wait time for the food despite being the ONLY customer in the restaurant. It’s really hard to decide what I want to complain the most about this place. It’s to a point that I feel bad for not only the customers but also for the owner of this restaurant.Just…mind blowing — in a bad way.
Walking in to this restaurant, I wasn 't expecting stellar service, but at least was hoping that my order would come out correctly. Their ordering system is to write out your order on a piece of paper, which is how I want to order my food at any restaurant tbh. But as always, there 's always room for error. I ordered: G03 soup dumplings A06 beef onion dumplings (fried) D01 green onion pancake Nestea Sprite to drink I ordered 2 orders of the soup dumplings, they only came out with one. I brought it to the waitress 's attention, all I told her was that on the paper we had ordered '2 ' ... and then they came out with 2 more orders which I was charged for. I wasn 't completely mad about this, the dumplings were good. For A06, they came out with egg and chive dumplings instead, the waitress said she thought I wrote a 4 instead of a 6, I mean, I wouldn 't exactly say this is a common misconception ... And they gave me a Canada Dry instead of a Sprite, like, whatever. Ultimately the best of anything I ordered was the green onion pancake. The only unfortunate part is that when finishing out the food ... we found bits of chicken at the bottom of the basket [pictured]. I am only hoping that they accidentally put chicken in this basket and took it out ... and that 's it. Honestly, I will rather take the extra hike and go to the The Dumpling King at Midland Finch.
