The vibes at this restaurant feel like you are in someone's living room and the food is super comforting, especially for a cold rainy or snowy day. I recommend the Budae Jjigae and the seafood pancake! Overall I wish I had Come SooNae (come sooner) to JungSooNae! Sorry about that
Wanted to try their famous raw crab so came here on a Saturday night. They forced us to get 2 orders of the raw crab and refused service when we said we only wanted 1 to share. Why do we have to get 4 crabs? What if we don’t like it and want to eat it with something else? What if someone in the party is allergic to crabs?? Unbelievable.
Wanted to try Gejang (Raw marinated crab), it was really good. Decent portions, the Bulgogi that I ordered was a little bit dry but all the flavour was still there. Great atmosphere, nice staff. Will definitely come back. Parking is a bit tricky so definitely scout out the area first.
Soy sauce crab was delicious! We also got the hot pot pork bone soup.It was a bit confusing how much rice comes with the crab and how much comes with the pork bone soup. We got 3 bowls of rice and we had 4ppl.Overall food was delicious, place was clean, and it was quite busy for 11:30am weekend. All the seats was filled once it opened!
I never want to come back to this place but my friend want to try the raw crab. This time the crab even smaller. The menu doesn't have many option, there is no noodles. All the food has small portion. I prefer to eat Korean food at downtown Bloor Korean town. The lady owner there is very rude, she keep on rushing us to order and also keep asking if we are finished our food then brought us the bill right away. Never come here again!! $75 for 3 people, only ordered the crab, stone bowl rice and a beef bone soup.
