We just wanted a place to sit but they went they even served us water. Unfortunately, came before they allowed indoor dinning but the decor was on point. It was the first time Armenian food. It was an excellent experience. If you are ever in the area would highly recommend checking it out! If you are afraid due to covid, they have take out as well!
I?ve tried so many times, to just ignore the bad service, the mistakes, and the bad ethics that this restaurant has. The restaurant was good at the beginning when it just got opened but after about 8-12 months it became a hit or miss situation. First of all, they really don?t work with enthusiasm at all and they don?t approach with ?customer first? attitude. I had 3 bad experiences on different occasions and over all terrible customer service other than the acting of being professional and nice. One time we put an order for a specific time to pickup and it was done way earlier and the food was cold. Another time I walk in, and they didn?t have mask on, they all had their masks down, and when I talked to them about it, they said ?I?m Armenian and they know me? so it?s fine. Guess what? weeks later I order a food here again and there is a piece of hair in it. And for the last time which made me write this review, the fries felt like it was microwaved and the chicken as well, as if it was a leftover burned chicken that they microwaved. The restaurant looks pristine and the marketing and presentation is outstanding as well, it makes you feel how great the restaurant is, however, the organic part of the restaurant which is customer service and food quality overall is terrible, their portion sizes are inconsistent, and the quality of food degraded. Another issue that I realized after a pickup is that I paid $70 for 3 meals and drinks, which it?d be a cost of sitting in a restaurant, not sure why I?d come back and spend for such bad service and bad quality food with small portions. I wanted so hard to keep giving the restaurant a chance as I?m Armenian and would like to support Armenian business, but I don?t think that will ever happen again, and I also would recommend you to just be aware of the incidents that I went through. By all means you can visit and spend for overpriced food with a hit or miss good food, with some act of professionalism and enthusiasm, but
Best meal set salad I?ve ever had. So much detail in that little corner: tomatoes, lettuce, cucumbers, olive, herbs, cheese, and delightful pita croutons. The fillet beef was fine, as was the dip. Loved the rice though. Great flavour and texture. Kebbeh was good but I?m use to seeing it with a dipping sauce and was disappointed there wasn?t any.
Went to lavash for a birthday dinner, and I felt like like I was back in Armenia. Small but intimate dining room, delicious appetizers and mains, live music and the service were nothing short of excellent. I would gladly recommend this restaurant to everyone!
Lavash is a relatively new addition serving up some delicious Armenian food. Back in the day this house used to be an Italian restaurant onown for its veal sandwich Inside Lavash is beautifully decorated with plenty of seating and outdoor patio slave available. Their staff are extremely friendly and attentitive. For food they have an array of appetizers, mezzes (shareables) and entres. I particularly loved their moutabbal which was similar to babaganoush. The muhammara a lovely pomegranate molasses spread. For mains we shared their Manti, and Ghavourma!!
