I had an appointment for daughter today. Once it was finished, I had to get to work for the afternoon and it was about lunch time. When you had kids, everything in life becomes chaotic especially when they are young. I failed to plan for lunch ahead of time ... So I needed to buy some lunch. I recalled there were some positive comments about 'Mr. Jerk ' in my neighborhood and decided to give it a try.

Mr. Jerk exceeds expectations for authentic Caribbean cuisine. For under $10, you can enjoy dishes like Jerk Pork, Rice Peas, Oxtail Gravy, and a Pineapple Soda. The portion sizes are generous, unlike what some other reviews may suggest. I have been dining here for 15 years and have always been satisfied.

I highly recommend this restaurant for their delicious jerk chicken and flavorful rice with peas. The quality of their food is excellent.
