We finally made our small visit for lunch today, and were not disappointed. For lunch we have ordered one Caesar's salad with 6 ozs of flat iron steak, one Rueben (corned beef) sandwich with fries, one prime-rid roast beef sandwich, plus a glass of Riesling. The total with 15% tips come close to $100, hence we considered it on the high side for lunch. However, for 3 reasons we considered the price justified: (1) The quality of food - the corned beef reminded us of those we had in Montreal; the roast beef was juicy with adequate fat: Both the house salad and the Caesar's salad were very fresh; Fries were good and crispy (2) Very friendly service - we server Alex has definitely made a difference. He took the time to explain the chef's background and passion; that the steak were from Caledon Ontario; and that everything on the menu were prepared in house. It made us feel we were not just another table (3) The ambiance - we liked the crisp clean decor and the brightness from the floor-to-ceiling glass. There are also ample patio seating outside. For improvement? (1) the flat iron steak seemed a bit chewy, although flavorful (2) Parking seemed limited - we wonder how it would be like in the evenings.Regardless - we will definitely go back for dinner, just to have a complete assessment.
Service was very good, however food falls short on taste especially considering pricing. Quality of meat was so so and too much seasoning(salt!). Puree on the side was quite poor.Overall-I will not order steak there again, Keg is a better choice. I purchased raw steaks at butcher counter at Paradise few times-they were excellent. So another option is to cook at home.
We came with my Family for a belated Mothers Day Dinner, the Food was amazing and Scott the interim Manager help to make it a special evening with doing a lot of magic for us. We brought a nice bottle of wine with us and they charged a $25.00 corkage fee, which I felt was fair. We will be definitely back and I have told over 10 people about this amazing steakhouse, not bad as I was only there last night.
Went there last night (Sat. Night) with a group of friends. The experience there was disappointing. First there is very little parking behind the building, very tight spots which are just before the restricted parking garage for the condo complex. Should have left at that point.Ordered at Diet Coke, it came warm. Had to ask repeatedly for water as is just never seemed to get to us.The bread they served was warm and very good. Both my wife
I have to share this spot. The food was excellent, and as I said the best beef I have ever eaten. I had the short ribs, my friends had prime rib on a bun and a burger. We started with poutine topped with beef and of course cheese. My friends and I agreed that we would definitely return. The staff was excellent and the chef made a personal visit to our table.
