The lunch sets are huge portions and we wanted only steamed dishes. the food was excellent! definitely back. service was very good, but they were understandably fast to...give is the bill so that the next customers could come. because of the covid there were only 50 % seats.
Let's get this out of here. I didn't appreciate that I charged $2 a person for tee that I didn't order (it was just on the table when I came there. it may have been ordered by friends who. it first. maybe a person, but $2, really? this place probably pays a tonne rental, and they hand it to the customers. each court was overpriced for what was received. the food was delicious to be safe, and the service very good, but for the prices they charge, I need more than just delicious.
We came on an icy snow Sunday, but the place was full like the deep garage. har gow was good, but the roasted beet cake and steamed beef chew so-so. the thousand-year-old egg shredded pork was average, but the cantonese style...stir rode quite well. the service was ok. overall not bad.
Our group (in the rule 5 to 10 participants) meets here about four to five times a year. this time I have the sweet and acidic pork, a bowl soup that contained beautiful noodles, and Chinese tee tried. we all enjoyed our lunch and the service.
My family met for dim sum lunch (10 adults at Pearl Bayview. We have been there a number of times before, mainly because it is centrally location for all of us. We had all the usual dim sum favourites (har gow, siu mai, char siu...bow, etc., etc. . The food is standard and the portions were okay, but neither were particularly noteworthy. Prices are somewhat high, given the upscale location.
