The buffet was smaller with limited options, no lamb or goat dishes, and tandoori chicken instead of the usual tandoori meat platter. The food was cold and the selection was lacking. I have had takeout from this restaurant in the past few months and the quality has been consistent with my recent buffet experience. Bombay Royale used to be a standout restaurant, but now it is just one of three mediocre Indian restaurants in town.
The rack of lamb at this restaurant is absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. The Biryani and nan were also excellent. I highly recommend this place.
Arriving 20 minutes after the restaurant opened, it was disappointing to find that the buffet food was all cold. The dishes were bland and lacked complexity, which was surprising given the usual use of spices in Indian cuisine. I even had to add salt to my meal. The chicken was dry, the broccoli was overcooked, and the service was indifferent. The atmosphere was also lacking in cheer. I would give this restaurant two stars solely because of the cold food, otherwise it would have been three. It's recommended to bring a microwave if you plan on dining here. The lunch buffet price was reasonable at $12, but it reflected the food quality.
Definitely one of the best Indian restaurants in Hampshire county. The lunch buffet is absolutely amazing. A decent amount of options and the food is nothing short of great. Would definitely recommend to people who want to have a taste of real authenticIndian food. Have been to this place several times and would continue going in future.
Had lunch buffet with friends. Delicious food with enough variety and reasonable price. I recommend it to every Indian food lover. Tea was below par so don't spend extra money on that.
