We had a great time on our first visit, thanks in part to our excellent waitress Daisy. For our second visit, I used the 'Fork' app to book a table after receiving an email offering 50% off food. However, to my surprise, when we were already seated, I was informed that the discount was not available. Despite this setback, we decided to stay as leaving at that moment would have caused anxiety for the students. The meals were delicious and the students were happy, but it was disappointing that the bill was higher than anticipated. I still recommend visiting the restaurant, as I believe this was just a minor issue.
The sirloin steaks that we both had were very fatty and not very nice. The amount of fat was around 40% of the entire steak. Very disappointing and we won’t be dining there again.
The attentive staff, delicious food, and reasonable prices make me want to come back again. The restaurant was clean, tidy, quiet, and comfortable. It had been years since I last visited a Harvester, but I was impressed.
The staff at the restaurant were extremely friendly, and our young waitress was both polite and helpful, making us feel like valued guests. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, which was served promptly and cooked to perfection, especially my son's steak.
Recently, the same restaurant visited 2 small groups of adult students with learning disabilities/authenticism. We had an excellent afternoon Daisy on our first trip was an excellent waitress. I have booked a second group of students in the following week about the 'Fork' app after I receive an email that offers 50% discount on food. It was then a real shock when I was already sitting, I was told that the discount was not available. I accept the advertising code at the time of booking the app. Anyone who would know the experience of caring for someone with autism would know that the decision to leave the restaurant at that time was not an option, as fear levels would have occurred. So we stayed, the meals were excellent, the students were happy, it was just disappointed that the bill was a little more than they were for budget. Don't let yourself go to the restaurant, I'm sure it was just a 'blip'!
