I had no expectations, but I was very disappointed. It was certainly jam in the night we went, and the margarita I ordered was good. The guacamole was tasteless and my tacos were also blanching. The food was expensive for what it was. When it was time to pay the bill, our waiter was not where to find it. There are many other delicious Mexican restaurants. I'm not going back to this.

I've been to their Wicker Park location a few times, and loved it, so why not try the South Loop one? It's more cramped and doesnt look as nice as the

Warning: Avoid weekend late brunch timeThe wait can be more than 30 minutes But the food is definitely worth the wait.

I was a HUGE fan of The Bongo Room because of their Wicker Park and Uptown locations (my favorite is still Uptown).
