Narai Thai - Northcote

We dined at this restaurant on Thursday 7/11/19. It was a very nice, clean, and comfortable place. We started with the mixed satay skewers, which were delicious - the chicken was moist and the beef was lovely. The peanut sauce was thick and tasty. For our mains, I had the pork pad cha, which was delicious, and my partner had the chicken mussaman curry, which was also delicious. It was great value at $70, including a soft drink and a glass of wine. We will definitely be back.

I have visited this restaurant twice now, and it has quickly become my top choice for Thai cuisine in the area. My go-to dish is the Thai green curry, which the staff graciously customized for me by adding eggplants and adjusting the spice level to my liking. The atmosphere is perfect for a romantic evening or a fun gathering with friends. I highly recommend this restaurant!

The green curry at this restaurant is the best I've ever had. I wish there were more and different vegetables in it though. The satay and massaman curry were also delicious. Overall, we enjoyed the meal and will definitely return!

All the food I order when dining regularly here is fresh and well presented. The serving sizes of the rice and noodle based main dishes are generous whilst the prices are very reasonable! The atmosphere and staff service is also of a very high standard and they make the best pad Thai I’ve had to date! I would highly recommend Narai Thai if you are looking for 5 star quality Thai food!

Had dinner here recently with my family and it was really nice. Extensive menu, with prompt food and service, although it was very cramped. Atmosphere was nice, but it was a little too dark for the older members of the family who struggled to read the menu. Overall a good experience, will be back.
