Primo - Northcote

We all enjoyed the yummy pizza at Primo. Nice atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff, good service. Would go there again if in the area.

I went to lunch at Primos at Tea Tree Plaza on 7/01/23 at 11:30. I ordered a pizza and my wife had a chicken pasta dish. My wife received her dish about 15 minutes later. Unfortunately, my pizza arrived with a hard crust and burnt on top. We have been loyal customers for a long time and have always been told that seniors receive a free garlic bread with their meal. I approached the manager and asked him to come look at my pizza, to which he responded that's how it comes. When my wife mentioned the issue with the free garlic bread, he denied ever offering that promotion. This led to an argument where he accused my wife of lying. He eventually took the pizza away and returned a few minutes later with the bill, telling us to go eat somewhere else. The management skills were very poor and the service was terrible. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

I went to this restaurant with friends I hadn't seen in 3 years. We booked a table for 7 pm and had to wait for it, but that was fine. We ordered 5 pizzas, calamari for starters, and a bottle of wine. About an hour later, we were informed that we had to finish up as there was another booking for the table. Despite planning on having dessert and another bottle of wine, we decided to finish up and go to a bar nearby. However, just 10 minutes later, a man came to our table and rudely asked us how many times we needed to be told to leave. Confused, we explained we had only been asked once before. He insisted we had been told multiple times, so we paid our bill and left. The table next to us even commented on how rude his behavior was. We had only been at our table for an hour, but none of us will ever go back to that restaurant.

The food at this restaurant was absolutely delicious! It satisfied my cravings perfectly. The service was fantastic, but the handmade gnocchi was absolutely incredible. I will be craving that dish for days to come!

A mighty fine experience. We had a Lamborghini, a mushroom and a prosciutto and fig pizza. Our friend had the gnocchi. The food was excellent. The pizzas were very tasty with terrific toppings and just the right crust. Service was terrific here tonight from our young server. A lovely gourmet pizza experience. Highly recommended.
