Contribuisci feedbackI was in search of a late-night meal when I stumbled upon this Denny's restaurant after midnight. Upon entering, I immediately noticed how cold it was inside. I waited nearly 15 minutes for the server to take my order, despite being the only customer in line. Feeling uncomfortable in the freezing dining area, I opted to wait for my food in my car. Upon receiving my order, I found that half of it was missing - including hash browns, eggs, toast, and drinks. When I brought this to their attention, I was informed that the cook was about to leave and refused to make any more food. Meanwhile, two other customers had been waiting for over 15 minutes to place their orders, only to be told that the registers were closed due to the lack of a cook. This was a disappointing experience during my weekend visit to New Jersey. I have never encountered such inefficiency at a Denny's restaurant before.
I was impressed by the excellent service, quick delivery, and high-quality food at this restaurant. The manager, Bryan, stood out for his exceptional efforts in ensuring everything ran smoothly during the busy late-night hours. He was polite, accommodating, and the cinnamon pancakes were as delicious as always.
This was our first time at this restaurant location and unfortunately, my family and I were very disappointed. We waited 40 minutes for a table, which we understand was due to Father's Day, but waiting an additional hour for our food which came out cold was unacceptable. The service was lacking, with the two girls at the front appearing unfriendly and distracted. We even noticed one of them vaping. Overall, we were not able to enjoy our meal and believe that Denny's can do better.
We were greeted immediately, sat right away, waited on within seconds! The server, Susan, was friendly and efficient throughout the meal. Our food, grand slam, was delicious and served hot. The price was reasonable. Our coffee was hot, strong and refilled. The room was very clean. All in all we had a fine meal. The manager, Angela, even circulated the dining room to see that everyone was happy. Well done Denny's Northfield!
Phenomenal dining experience! My boyfriend and I came in for a late dinner/ early morning breakfast at around 12 Am and were pleasantly surprised. A side note: all of the customers who checked out with Brian were thrilled to see such a dedicated worker. He does the work when no one is watching. Just him front of house and one line cook in the back of house! Our server/ manager, named Brian, was above and beyond with his service. His service was excellent as he took our orders swiftly and the food that came out looked absolutely delicious. I have always had a great experience at Denny’s, however, tonight was especially wonderful. Brian worked solo with one line cook all night and he worked with exceptional couthe. I use the word couthe because he was calm and collected while there were at least 5 tables to clean. A very hardworking individual that I come across once in a lifetime. I hope to dine in with Brian as our waiter again! Superheroes don’t always wear capes!
