Depending on what time you go, there can be a big crowd of students going into eat, and it may take a while for yourself to get in. Upon entering, you get greeted by a friendly cashier who comes right over to help you and let's you know how everything works (paying and food). Once in, you see a buffet style of lots of stations of different kinds of food that will make sure you don't feel left out with what you're feeling like. Depending on who you get at the station can dedice if you get someone friendly or unkind, have lots of food, or barely anything. A good number of beverage choices for whatever you're thirsting for. Depending on when you go, there may be a lot or few choices of desserts, including cookies, bars, cakes, and pies. Seating can be hard to find if you end up going at a busy time, but there is usually room upstairs if you have a few people in your party. Overall, good bang for you buck that will always leave you feeling full.
Great cafeteria on campus. Some of the best food in terms of college dining.
Keeps a good variety of foods throughout the year, and all of them taste pretty good too
Among college dining halls, this almost certainly rates 5 stars. How to eat at Stav: (1) read the summary outside of the day's dishes in the various areas (e.g., mac cheese in the Home area) and pick three potential options to investigate; (2) pay for your meal at the register; (3) gather a tray and silverware just inside the entry; (4) quickly check out your three selections, and take your favorite, saving room for some greens and cherry tomatoes if you're so inclined; (5) get your drink in the back; and finally, most importantly, (6) fill all remaining available spaces on your tray with cookies, bars, baklava, cake, pudding, et al., before picking a seat. There are napkins at the tables.
An amazing food service at a college. Provides options for every palate. Though it can be a bit expensive if you aren't a student each meal is inventive and the options are basically endless. Top notch!
