California Pizza Kitchen At Northridge

I really appreciate how they partner with the Dodgers to offer a free personal pizza when the team wins a home game—such a fun promotion! I ordered my pizza to go, and it came with their delicious sourdough French bread. It can get a bit busy at times, especially when people are eagerly waiting for their free pizza!

Our server was fantastic, but our food took an incredibly long time to arrive. I overheard something about a promotion where they give away free pizza when the Dodgers win, but that shouldn’t affect service. It seems they need to be better organized to ensure customers don't have to wait nearly an hour for their meals.

We used to order from this restaurant all the time when we lived nearby, even during COVID because our kids loved the make-your-own pizza kits. However, I don't know what has happened since then. We picked up a dessert today for my birthday, and now the three of us are feeling nauseous after having the red velvet cake and chocolate souffle. I tried to call the restaurant to discuss it, but I was put on hold for 10 minutes. I will never return!

The service was terrible. For a quick dinner for an adult and two children in a school night. Almost two hours for pizza and salad bowl. I flew waiters on water to go box and check. Yeah, they're nice and food is good, but not worth the stress. Even after the question of something, the answer was slow. It wasn't so busy and there were many waiters.

CpK always has excellent service and a warm ambience. The drinks are delicious (both the cocktails and mocktails) and the apps pizzas are top notch. You can't go wrong with the carne asada pizza or the chicken tequila fettuccine! Oh man !
