Ordered a childs meal and could not believe what was included. I would expect a sandwiche, pkt crisps and maybe a piece of fruit plus a drink for £3.95. This does not sound unreasonable. What it actually consists of is 1 slice of bread with cheese in plus approx 8 crisps on a plate. Yes thats it. When I asked where the drink was I was rudely told that it was another £1.75 for a small carton. When I asked for my money back I was told no as the child had eaten the 2 small sandwiches, so on top of being ripped off they would happily take the food off the children.
Lovely afternoon tea today , asked a few weeks ago about access for disabled daughter , was told let us know when you book and we’ll arrange table for you , which they did , tea was lovely , service good . Daughter doesn’t do hot drinks so had to pay for hers , should have thought before hand and had Prosecco for her ! Lovely treat , thank you
We only called in for tea, as we were killing time before catching a train. The staff were wearing face coverings and only one group were allowed at the counter at a time. The staff were friendly and chatty. Order and pay at the counter and your order is brought to your table. Tables and toilets were spotlessly clean and there was a one way system in operation, although not everyone was following this!.
Ordered a round of toast and butter (no jam) and was very surprised to be charged when I ordered extra butter.
