The slice of chocolate cake served to me with my latte had to be seen to be believed, congratulations to Costa Morpeth Bridge St who I nominate for the best lets rip off the customers smallest slice of cake completion. Shame on this place, give us value for money please and STOP ripping the customers off with minuscule slices of cake.
Last few times I came to the bridge street Costa the hot chocolate was like water. This was a couple of years ago. Had to come back today due to the one at next being shut. Again, just a large cup of hot water with cream on. Would take it back if it wasn’t such a nightmare to get parked. Won’t go back to this branch again. All that money for a hot chocolate and they’re still too greedy to put any chocolate powder in it. It should have stayed closed and made way for a decent shop to open.
Today at 10am I was served by Beth and Erin very pleasant helpful girls who made me very welcome. I had the bacon sandwich deal., cooked to a t. I’d had sad news and Erin made me feel happier.
Girl who served me had a disgusting attitude and couldn’t be any less helpful. I think if she smiled her face would crack due to all the Botox and fuller. Any regular of this Costa will knows exactly who I mean. I will never come again, such a **** experience. This girl needs retraining quick or given the boot.
I was shocked to hear a member of staff complaining to another member of staff about another colleague being repeatedly late for work during that week and for not apologising. They were far more interested in complaining to each other than conversing with their customers. I don't believe this to be a true reflection of customer service within the brand but this really was unacceptable. I am a daily customer in my local Costa Stanley Green had this happened within my local Costa i would have challenged it.
