Tried Fish Chips and peas, large portion and very tasty, others in our party equally impressed with food Whilst I wouldn't describe it as cheap it was good value. Would definitely recommend.
We experienced this restaurant with the Sunday lunch Carvery . It was an experience that we won’t be rushing back to waste our money on again. Should you be the person who enjoys all your vegetables smelling and tasting like over boiled cabbage then it could be recommended but otherwise I suggest that you give it a miss for Sunday lunch.
Really good meal , good service, hot and very tasty, good portion size nothing wrong with this meal whatsoever.I will certainly be coming back .
Great size room and no need for booking for the Sunday carvery.Food was decent and prices reasonable with three different size plates on offer.Went to pay at the bar only to be told they don't accept money,it was card only.Asked why they wouldn't take payment by cash and was told it was changed to that in Covid and never changed back.Very poor excuse in February 2023.
We stayed ona touring Pitch E 1 and this has separate Shower room and Toilets for the E area. They were spotless and in fact better standard than any five star hotel. The Club House is nearby and we had a few drinks but had eaten in Berwick. everyone looed happy with the meals where saw being taken to tables and the staff were really friendly .. The grounds are exceptional too well done McQuires . The Rolls Royce of Camp sites .. Weve been touring for years in our motorhome from our base in Sunderland and this is the best site we have ever visited . Be back in future.
