The food at this restaurant was of excellent quality and very reasonably priced. I haven't had such delicious fish and chips in years. I would highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning in the future.

The fish and chips at this restaurant used to be good, but they have become too expensive for me. I had them yesterday and now they cost 27.50£ for 2 cod and chips. I find this to be very expensive and it is disappointing. Unfortunately, I will not be returning.

On a day trip from Newcastle to Seaton Sluice, we saw the Harbour View fish and chip restaurant, and were fortunate enough to order a meal shortly before closing in the afternoon. To say the fish and chip meal was excellent, would be doing it an injustice, superb may be a better description. The restaurant was spotless, the staff could not have been more friendly, my wife and I will certainly return. We live in the midlands but travel up into Northumberland at least once a year, we have called in at Seaton Sluice in the past, and noticed people queuing outside the Harbour View, and said we must get round to trying the fish and chips, we are so glad we did.

Amazing fish and chips. Really generous portions with a complimentary starter and bread and butter. Luckily our server recommended the pensioners serving which was delicious and very filling. You'd need a huge appetite to eat anything more. Definitely recommend
