Contribuisci feedbackI usually don't do reviews but after reading the reviews and especially the one fromrealfoodgoodservice rating of one. I've been there at least 20 times we make it our stop while driving the country roads in the summer, and we have never experienced any of their complaints service is always friendly and quick the décor is fresh and inviting and the bathroom is always clean. as far as the owner swearing and yelling at the employees never seen this or heard it and also how'd they know it was the owner sounds like somebody is just being vindictive, also one time their interact and visa services were down and they told us not to worry about it get them next time you are in the area well they don't know me from a hole in the wall ,needless to say we were back about a month later for diner and paid up not even a phone call or anything from them till we came in. To me that's service
Up to Par has a great atmosphere with tables and booths and a family room. Fare is simple but well prepared and service is prompt - even on a busy evening. Good specials and no problems returning something which was not as ordered. Only thing I didn't like was the For Sale sign outside - would hate to see this place go,
My husband and I enjoy coming here for date nights. The food is good and reasonably priced. They have a nice patio and a view of the golf course, or if you come at supper time, you can enjoy a nice candlelit meal in the dining room.
As a waitress at up to par, the majority of complaints are"are you sure there's no room on the patio?" Or "are you sure you can't seat 25 now?"so to read the complaints from"ok but not good" and"menu are really far fetched! First of all our onion soup is stored in glass containers, as is all our food!!Second our seafood platter is $26 and is pan seared except the clams! Our salads are very generous and always fresh! Our seafood never last long enough to get freezer burnt as the owners are constantly running out to get more!!The compliments that I receive at this restaurant make me love my job!
We've been here several times. It has a good reputation locally, but the food just isn't good. The French onion soup, which is my usual barometer of how good a restaurant of this style (family diner with a bit of pretensions) really is, tasted like it was from a bag. The service was ok, but not quick given how few patrons there were. The other people in my party were satisfied with their meals, but this is nothing to write home about. It's next to the golf course, but under separate ownership.
