Food was not very good. And quite disappointing for a $115/pp
First time there, it was recommended to my wife by a colleague, so she wanted to try as per usual not the place I recommended of course. We went to the Norwalk CT location, not busy for Monday 6:30 reservation. Waiter was pleasant, not pushy and knew what he was doing, welcome change. We both had the surf&Turf Filet And Lobster, both prepared as asked again not the norm in most places. Filet did not require any other seasoning. Definitely would go again though pricey may not go to often. Do prefer to go less frequently compared to lower prices, poorer quality of food and service.
Good old fashioned traditional service and most importantly gorgeous beef and nice ambivalence.
This is one of our favorite restaurants in the area. When we want a true NY steakhouse-quality dinner, we always go to Blackstone’s. The waiters are very attentive and friendly. The steaks are fantastic. Cooked perfectly to our liking every time. We like to share the porterhouse for two, or we get the individual NY strip and filet. Always delicious! Everything is a la carte, just like a steakhouse you’d find in NYC. They have a good varied list of classic side dishes to accompany your meal. Some favorites are the sautéed spinach and the fried onions. We can’t vouch for the entire menu because we always have steaks when we visit Blackstones…it is a steakhouse after all, but I’ll bet everything on the menu is good.
