When it comes to food, there’s a wide variety to choose from: tequeños, arepas, empanadas, cachapas, pabellón, patacones, and more! However, I have to admit that the tequeños were a bit disappointing. The cheese didn’t seem right and almost melted into the dough. On the other hand, the arepas and cachapas were delicious. I felt like I got a taste of home, although not completely authentic. I really wish they offered mandocas as well. The vegan arepa was incredible—the black beans were the best I've ever had, and the addition of sweet plantains was simply amazing. Overall, it’s a fantastic little spot to visit. There’s a small outdoor seating area and plenty of indoor space. The staff are great, and the food is wonderful!
The Venezuelan food here is fantastic, and the service is lovely. The sauces are outstanding! However, they could benefit from offering more vegetarian options. You'll truly feel like you're in Venezuela with offerings like Polar beer, chicha, and more.
Ordered online for take out! The cachapas so delicious!!!!! Wow. Can't wait to come back
La calle makes the best patacon I have tasted. We ordered the Carne asada and it was amazingly tasty with the grilled melty cheese and the Anquan plantains for buns. The arepas were also tasty and generously portioned. We will be coming back.
