The Lime - Norwalk

I cannot emphasize enough how much you need to try this place! This is by far the best hidden gem in all of New England for plant-based and flexitarian eaters. TRY THE TOFU FRITTERS OR BURGER! I’ve been vegetarian for 10 years and have always tried tofu but I had never tried anything even remotely similar to the way this places does tofu. It was so flavorful and you can’t get anything like it anywhere else that I’ve ever been. I promise you, even the biggest tofu haters will love it. The service was also great and the atmosphere was super cute and cozy. The portions we received were also totally worth the price we paid and more than sufficient (we all ended up needing to-go boxes) so don’t listen to those other reviews. 10/10 for sureVegetarian options: The tofu and falafel is to die for! Their tofu is truly unique and much better than any tofu you’ve ever had before (coming from a tofu lover). The falafel sate appetizer was also super inventive and delicious; I had never thought to put falafel with a curry sauce and it was a great pairing.

I like the food but if the Uber driver doesn't match like 90% of the time and then steals half my stuff it's really a huge let down.. food safety is not a priority here and I'm sick of the lying. If you can't qualify to deliver Uber eats then I don't want you showing up at my door plain and simple

Ordered for delivery. Got the tofu burger salad. Very bland, and lacking any flavor. Rice was almost inedibly uncooked. “Tahini dressing” is a long stretch. It was abot 90% water filler and 10% tahini.

I have been going to the like for years and years. It was amazing, but since the new ownership a couple years ago it has not been the same. The portions are not what they used to be (I needed to order extra chicken for the blackened chicken wrap just to get the same amount as it should have). You shouldn’t have bought the restaurant if you have to cut corners and compromise the integrity of the food. The rice used to be amazing now it’s just regular rice and mine today was barely cooked. They used to give out a good amount of zucchini bread and it was amazing. Now you have to ask for it. This is what made me, and so many others love the lime. I keep giving it one more chance but don’t think I can after my lunch today. To the owner Please restore what the restaurant was when you took it over!!

Nice place. It's been around for a while. I used to work next door when Papa John's was there where Valencia is.
