Not Your Average Joe's - Norwell

Got this on Door Dash delivery. It was perfect The wrap was toasted, but soft inside, the lettuce still had a crunch 24 hrs later when I ate the other half. The sweet potato fries were perfectly crisp on the outside, soft in the middle, and seasoned perfectly. I'll be back!

Not Your Average Joe's is a decent family restaurant, if a bit pricey for its fare. Note that NOT A SINGLE MEAL on their kid's menu includes a vegetable or fruit (did they not involve a mom in their menu design? . It's just bizarre for a place where almost every booth will have kids crawling around. If you want to feed your child something healthier you'll be stuck ordering a veggie or salad on the side which increases your bill. Service is usually fine, again, this isn't fine dining. My son and I went on my birthday and even if you mention it's your birthday, they don't do anything for it no free cake or dessert. It's a perfectly acceptable family spot (you could definitely do worse but nothing special and has a few drawbacks.

A bit over priced for the amount of food we got for takeout wasn't even a small bowl worth of the gumbo usually get a lot this time was nothing

This place used to be great. I expected to wait for a table; but when we walked in at 6pm on a Sunday night (holiday w/e), there were lots of empty tables. We sat at our table about 10min before our server acknowledged us. Service was slow, food was good, but used to be better. There was food splattered on the wall next to us. This is the second time we’ve had a similar experience. Sadly, no reason to return.
