Now this is a place for bier lovers. prepare to sit and be adventurous as they have a whole menu of fantastic rare ones that they do not really find that easy. I chose a black johannisbeer that was very refreshing and tasted like a snake bear. it was not very strong, but it was perfect to sit in the sun and cool down. I recommend this place for his great beer selection and I wish I could have stayed there longer to try more of them.
Shocking service, rude staff, especially the manager, must be connected to the owner, as I cannot think of another reason why she works there. I was never treated so badly by a worker in a restaurant in 30 years of eating in pubs' restaurants. watered hummus, indescribable other starters so decided not even to order a pornstar. over price wein and unpaid. I've gone there in the last 10 years, but I can honestly say I'll never go back. this bar?/ has driven the hill so much, don't waste time or money.
Great Belgian brews and food. Have been to the Belgian Monk twice now and left impressed after both visits. I am admittedly a huge mussels frites fan, so it has been difficult from me to venture past the huge selection of tasty bivalves. My favorite (so far) are the Hot and Spicy. The fish and chips is also quite nice and a definite upgrade from the usual pub variety. The service has always been good as well. The only complaint I can bring is that it's a bit expensive for this kind of fare. The portions are large, however, and as stated above, the food very good.
Stopped in norwich on the way to our holiday destination. stunned over this place while on the look for another vegan eating. had a wonderful vegan menu. my son and I shared the cake and the burger between us, while my partner adjusted the tartiflette to make it gluten-free with the very helpful and friendly staff. her beer is also vegan, so treat me with the kwak. we finished with desserts of tiramisu, a milkshake for the young and the chocolate brew for me. all tasty and quite reasonable, with two of the main on an early bird menu to almost half the price! highly recommended!
