This pub/restaurant is excellent. The menu offers a variety of delicious options with generous portions. I have been here twice in the past few weeks. The steak and wine were both exceptional. They also serve Adnams beer on tap. The restaurant has a charming old building with exposed beams (not sure if they are original). I suggest booking a table on Sunday afternoon for the best experience. I highly recommend this place.
It was the most delicious swordfish in my life. the pub is clean and cozy.very nice to be here. friendly staff. I will definitely come back.
Excellent quality food, lovely friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend.
We met friends at this restaurant recommended as a must-try. The atmosphere was beautiful and the staff was friendly. We enjoyed our lunch and desserts, and the dining experience was very pleasant. The fish dishes were especially delicious, and I found the prices reasonable, including the sticky toffee puddings. However, the Shiny Ripening Camembert, priced at £25, seemed a bit expensive for what was served. The garlic prawns were a bit disappointing, with only 5 medium-sized prawns for £7. Overall, it was a very nice experience and I would consider returning, but I probably wouldn't order the 'surf n turf' again for £32, as I'm not convinced it's worth the price.
