I ordered the buccatini with slow tomato sauce, which I had not tried at the main Yard location before. Unfortunately, I was really disappointed with the dish I received at the Stanley. It was very dry and bland, especially considering the price of £9.50. I believe vegan parmesan is available, but my dish arrived without it due to stock issues. Despite this, I am still curious to try the pizza, although last week when we attempted to order it was sold out due to high demand. Overall, I will keep my expectations low based on my experience with the pasta. On a positive note, the staff was lovely and the atmosphere was great.
I have visited The Stanley multiple times and have always enjoyed the amazing food. The staff is friendly and there is a great selection of drinks. While not all drinks are listed as vegan-friendly, the staff is happy to check for you. I particularly loved the Indian Thali, which I have ordered a few times. The houmous with pitta bread is some of the best I have ever had - I'm not sure if it's homemade or store-bought, but it's delicious. The marinated olives are also really tasty. Additionally, it's a dog-friendly pub.
The restaurant offers a variety of clearly labeled vegan drinks on tap. While they may not be the cheapest or the tastiest, it's refreshing to see them offered in a local pub. The menu also features plenty of vegan options, such as buffalo cauliflower wings and crispy tofu. Although these dishes are on the pricier side, it's great to have them available outside of the city center. The atmosphere is pleasant, with good music and games. I definitely plan on returning.
It's always nice to go to an Omni venue where more than half the menu is vegan and the vegan/veg options are put first, and you can tell that the Stanley have put a lot of effort into make great veg food for everyone. The tofu and wakame salad is incredible (even if you don't usually like salad) and while it's not the cheapest place to eat, all of the food is well worth the price
I was at the stanley and always had incredible food. the personal is always friendly and there is a good choice of drinks. the drinks are not all listed as vegan friendly, but the personal is always happy to check. I had the Indian thali a few times what was amazing. the huge ones they serve with Pitta bread are some of the best buzzing I've ever eaten, I'm not sure whether it's made or bought before location, but either it's delicious. they also have marinated olives, which are also really beautiful. it is also a dog-friendly pub
