The Tea Junction - Norwich

We had the misfortune to call in at this establishment for 2 cappuccino, it was put on the table and the waitress went away, we tried our coffees. it was like drinking hot milky water, absolutely no taste, it was as though they had missed putting the coffee in !!!!!! I went back into the cafe and told the staff that we could not drink the coffee they had served us as it was tasteless and the worst coffee we had ever had.

The service was subpar, the owner was rude, the tea strainer was dirty, the tables and chairs were filthy, the hot chocolate tasted awful, and we were denied refunds. We will not be returning to this establishment. It is evident that this couple is not capable of running a cafe. We recommend avoiding this place at all costs.

Visit started off well, pleasant member of staff was patient whilst I chose a toffee latte for myself (I can’t drink strong coffee as it gives me headaches) and a carrot cake for my husband. When the drinks arrived I noticed my coffee was not a latte but an Americano. Being a barrister I am well aware of the difference. My husband returned my drink and was told that was just how strong it should be. They added insult to injury by just topping up my toffee americano with milk. This obviously makes no difference. I therefore had to leave my coffee that I had paid for when it was obviously an error of the staff that they refused to rectify. I will most definitely not be returning.

I visited the restaurant today and inquired about breastfeeding my son there. I didn't make a purchase, but the staff still provided me with water and offered assistance. Their kindness, even though I wasn't a paying customer, was truly appreciated. The ambiance and aroma alone make it worth a visit.

Discovered this gem in the castle mall in Norwich. Great selection of tea and coffee to take home, plus a good snack menu with good service.
