After complaining the manager got back to me within hours to offer me a sincere apology as well as a a free meal to compensate for the experience. Thank you so much Nonna Mia, customer service goes a long way. See you Tuesday for a pizza :
I have had nothing but wonderful food and service at Nonna's. One of Joburg's little Italian gems as far as I'm concerned.
