We came for a Graduation Celebratory evening with family and friends the staff were friendly, very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent, with interesting selections of dishes and I can highly recommend the Sangria!
We recently held a fashion show at Baresca for our ladies clothing store. Just wanted to say what a great time everyone had. The service from the staff was 100% and the food was delicous. If you are looking for a party venue, the cellar bar is the place to book! Thanks again everyone!
The staff and management are attentive and pleasant and the ambience are very good. The food is good but I feel most likely just bought in and heated up rather than cooked from scratch. Could be wrong but my suspicion as the theatre kitchen is too clear and small to allow for much more. What let’s the place down for me is the value. £6 to £8 for half a flat bread with two thimbles of hummus or a few herbs and sultans was the most upsetting and left me feeling a bit ripped off. After £25 a head we had a few tasty mouthfuls each but didn’t add up to a meal. I appreciate restaurants are finding it tough but need to be more creative to offer customer value.
We recently hosted a party to celebrate our wedding with friends at Baresca using their upstairs event space. Hollie was really helpful and responsive when working with us to plan the menu and timings for the evening. On the day the team were flexible when we had to make some last minute changes to numbers and were very attentive to our guests, particularly regarding dietary requirements. Everyone said how amazing the food was and we all had a great time. The venue was good value for money considering that we had exclusive use of the space and plentiful amounts of food and drink. We wouldn’t hesitate to host an event here in the future.
