In this country, it can be difficult to find a good kebab, but when you do, it's a real pleasure. The service was excellent and the meal was good value, with a delicious salad and bulgur wheat. The kebab was well-cooked and served with Turkish bread and dips. To finish off the meal, the waitress brought a glass of Turkish tea. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
While walking through the city center, I stumbled upon Food Factory, a new restaurant that caught my eye with its sign advertising fish and chips. Despite my initial reservations about their menu offering a variety of other dishes, I decided to give it a try since the place was empty. I watched as they cooked the fish fresh for me while I waited at the counter by the window. The restaurant had plenty of seating options, including tables in a separate room, stools by the front window, and tables outside on the pavement. The portion of fish and chips I ordered was not the small serving you might find elsewhere for a lower price; it cost £9.00 but was well worth it. The fish was large and perfectly cooked, with a crispy batter and flaky white flesh. The chips were hot and satisfyingly plentiful, making it a truly enjoyable meal. I'm not sure if my experience was just a lucky one or if Food Factory consistently delivers such quality, but I will definitely be returning on my next visit to Nottingham to find out. Compared to other shops in the area that serve lukewarm, subpar fish and chips, Food Factory is a standout choice.
