The salad trolley was fully stocked and fresh as well as delicious you are able to choose your own now I stead of asking for it. The food, cooked by Andy in the kitchen(so I was told) was delicious. And the service by Julia, wow. She was so attentive but walked that really difficult line of not being intrusive like an expert tightrope walker! She changed the volume of the music several times for me, chatted with my daughter, even tried to find a vegetable that she would eat with her main course . We were really impressed with our visit today. Thanks.
Julia, our server was extremely friendly, she made our experience great! Food was great as usual, and the atmosphere was nice too! Salad bar’s cleanliness/freshness could’ve been better, but I genuinely didn’t see a lot of employees so it’s acceptable!
Very friendly and efficient staff the food was good and adequate for us but portions could have been a bit bigger, I suppose the portions are on the small side because of the free salad. There are also free rolls and butter which we was not told about !! Apparently if you buy a pint of soft drink you can have free top ups of coke and orange, again we was not told about this until we saw customers doing it. They had unfortunately ran out of rotisserie chicken and also jacket potatoes. However we would go again and recommend that you try it
Great pub and our waiter Matthew was really helpful. would of given the experience 5 star had it not been for our mains, even though we asked for certain condiments not to be added to our food they still were, so was not able to enjoy the food as much as we’d of liked. saying that the starter and desert was really good though.
Nice location, good space for parking. Wheelchair access lift at front appeared to be out-of-order (there was a sticker on the door saying so) when we went in, no way for someone on their own out there to get in without assistance, and the door wouldn 't open and there was no indication about what to do there... and no doorbell or otherwise to get staff attention for help. I think the lift is functional, as we were able to use it on the way out, but honestly the accessibility provision shouldn 't present a barrier in itself. Drinks order was handled poorly, ordered lemonade with a flavour shot. Received tonic water. Requested replacement, received straight lemonade, after quite a long wait. Right... Meal took ~50 minutes to be served, and it was ok I guess? I 've had better out of a microwave, and that only takes 3 minutes, and doesn 't cost half as much. Interior lighting was dim, I figure probably for mood, but it made reading the menu fun . Didn 't bother complaining at the time, paid up and left quietly. Wasn 't in the mood for a discussion of this, just wanted to go on to do something pleasant.
