As walk ins I was so pleased that they accommodated us as for an early Mother’s Day lunch, it was very busy. Great pizza, wine and the best siracha sauce I’ve had! Definitely will be back and highly recommended.
Visited 11th Feb for friends birthday with 7 of us and we had great time. Great pizza and brilliant service. Our server Amber was really friendly, quick and didn't miss a beat. Top notch Oddly enough though my favourite bit was the smoked mac and cheese! Super recommend.
Massive Oscar’s and Rosie’s fan normally, food is great, literally can’t get enough of their pizzas. Went in tonight having booked and requesting a low table due to being 37 weeks pregnant with pelvic pain. First thing I was asked was if I’m ok with a high table which I said I wasn’t and had requested so was put on a large low table. Ordered food and waited about 40 minutes which in the mean time 3 tables who came in after us received their food (there were only 2 of us and no special requests that warrant a long wait). The table next to us had a pizza removed off them being told that it wasn’t their pizza (they had already started eating from it) and it became pretty clear they had been served our food, however rather than discussing this with us we were just left to wait. I asked one of the waiting staff where our food was to which I was told a few minutes later it had just been put in the oven and would be 5-8 minutes. I explained the above and asked why the long wait and she said she works find out. She then arrived with our food after our 45 minute total wait with literally no explanation or apology. Food was great as it always is but no check ins or asking if we want anymore drinks etc. Just frustrating as mistakes happen which is fine but lack of communication made it a pretty annoying night.
Sadly we ordered just a chicken pizza. Apparently they had run out of Mac Cheese and Potato Wedges!! Now, it did have chicken on, but the quantity on the entire pizza amounted to the same as on an anaemic chicken wing....... If I had been expected to pay for it I'd have said no, put the £11 for the 2 beers we had on the table and walked out. Thankfully they had emailed about a birthday pizza, so there was no need to have to do that. Another bug bear is that they bring the pizza and ask if you want a plate..... Erm, bring them as a standard perhaps. Prob wont be back again. Did see a new pizza joint around the corner as was going to a bar, which we are excited to try Pizza Punks.
My friend and I popper in to Oscar Rosie’s for a quick lunch. We were seated quickly and popped our order in within a few minutes. Despite the place not being particularly busy we waited a long time for the food, which was fine but definitely not a trip we’ll be repeating
