Small Food Bakery - Nottingham

I visited the Bakery for the first time yesterday and bought a variety of delicious treats, including the best sausage roll I've ever had. This Bakery is a wonderful addition to Nottingham's community. Congratulations and thank you!

Do you remember a time when food actually tasted like food? It seems almost unreal to me that I am sitting down to write a review about a sausage roll and a custard tart. However, after a chance encounter and a discussion about food and ingredients, I was pointed in the direction of a small bakery. I decided to stop by to grab a quick treat and take a look around. A few people were casually enjoying their treats in the cozy space, but I opted to grab mine to go. I picked up a custard tart to satisfy my sweet craving and a sausage roll for something savory. The custard tart was absolutely delicious, with a crisp sweet pastry base and a light, not overly sweet custard filling. It was perfectly baked and still warm when I indulged in it outside in my car. As for the sausage roll, I had intended to save it for home, but the tantalizing smell of the sourdough pastry and pork filling proved too much to resist. I ended up irresponsibly devouring it on the drive home. The taste was divine, and the aroma even better. It was a pleasant surprise to actually taste real onions in there! The seasoning was spot-on, and it brought back memories of what a "proper" sausage roll tasted like from my childhood. This is quite an accomplishment, considering I come from a family of butchers and excellent home bakers. I am eagerly looking forward to returning and trying some of their breads next time.

I have been a fan of their cinnamon rolls for a long time (purchased from other places). I have finally discovered their location and will be a regular visitor. The experience was exceptional, with delicious food and an intriguing atmosphere. It was refreshing to be in a place that is unique and not just a copy of others.

A small bakery which, quite rightly prides itself on using only the finest ingredients. I visited the cafe just before Easter and the Hot Cross Buns were delicious. On my next visit I will definitely be sampling the parties. Great!

Only a small cafe but worth a visit ! Bread is delicious and quite a choice of different types! Also nice free samples today! Other stuff including fruit and eggs for sale and very welcoming and knowledgeable staff. Highly recommend.
