The Avenues Cafe - Nottingham

The food at this restaurant was not impressive. I ordered avocado on toast and was served guacamole on toast, which was not good. The cooked breakfast was decent; the eggs were cooked perfectly, but the bacon and sausages lacked flavor. Condiments and sugar were not readily available on the tables and had to be requested. However, the staff members were very friendly.

The cafe serves good coffee and consistently good food, even for someone picky like me. The only downside is that they charge extra for adding beans and tomatoes to your breakfast.

The toast appeared to be buttered with a dirty rag, there was a strong smell of unwelcoming imagery and offensive tattoos. The person at the register looked aggressive and I suspect they used unsanitary practices with my food.

This is an excellent place for a normal, veggie or vegan breakfast/meal at incredible prices that you will not find anywhere else. I highly recommend.

Excellent basic cafe on edge of Sneinton Market. Enjoyed excellent vegan fry-up breakfast. Quick staff dealing with busy Saturday morning
