I brought two slices of rainbow cake, and a chocolate cheesecake slice, stale and nasty ! The cream tasted off and the sponge was soggy, on the chocolate cheesecake the cream tasted off and the base was definitely stale. Not nice 14.50 for bin food! I won’t go there again and I strongly recommend health and safety get in there and do some testing on the food and hygiene
Ordered a cake for sons birthday 24 hours before the day, very easy to order. Cake was amazing, the staff and manager was very helpful when I have an enquiry about something. Very clean, taking a lot of covid precautions seriously. Very please
Cheescake Shop has several cafe's/ shops with most in and around Greater Nottingham. This one is the headquarters and has a nice inside and outside seating area. I remember when I was younger and used to eat Cheesecakes, at University my New York friends made their traditional Cheesecakes and when we grew apart and they returned back to the USA or to London, I lost my chance to eat the delicious Cheesecakes, the American way. Of course you can buy them from any shop but the base is often horrible and the main section is not with that REAL taste. Pret A Manger is a nice place to have a Cheesecake as well as other speciality shops but I and my family were always drawn into eating from The Cheesecake Shop. I was very hesitant and worried about the taste and flavor and one day got the courage to pop in and buy an American Baked Cheesecake slice even though there are options to buy a whole cake. The slice was divine, it was just as my American friends made and was utterly delicious. The base was beautifully done and the main part was sensational. Now a regular customer and re-introduce my American friends from London to this new company, they even admit that The Cheesecake Shop produces, designs and makes great cakes. There is plenty of choice, and even though I have tried 8 types and been 11 times in just 2 months, I really need to go and try more, this is officially the best Cheesecake that I have ever tasted...
Hello, I used to frequent this restaurant years ago and it was great. My friends recommended that I try their cheesecake. I was hesitant when I found out that all the cheesecakes are now frozen and not freshly baked, but I felt pressured to make a purchase. Upon arriving at the restaurant, I was surprised by the high price of £14.80 for a relatively small cheesecake that only yields about 12 slices. The topping is a strawberry jelly with some fresh cream swirls on top. I had hoped that the taste would justify the price, but both my husband and I were disappointed. We both agreed that we could have gotten a much better cheesecake at a supermarket and we won't be returning to buy anything at full price again. The quality just isn't the same anymore, and it seems like they are now using frozen ingredients instead of making everything fresh like they used to.
I am writing to express my concerns as a loyal customer of your restaurant. Yesterday, my friend purchased a cake from one of your Polish staff members, Kaarolina Paawinska. The cake was more expensive than expected, and was delivered by a man in a silver Ford Focus without a receipt or any information on the ingredients. Unfortunately, I have since become ill with food poisoning after consuming the cake, and my baby is also not feeling well. I have seen on your Facebook page that others have experienced similar issues with Ms. Paawinska before. I am urging you to address this matter urgently before I take further action with my solicitor and the trading standards authority. Kind regards, Jasmine Aktarr
