The Millers Barn (beefeater)

So much potential...if they ever had enough staff to seat, serve or make the food. Twice we've come and they've turned people away saying they're booked. In reality, like today, they've only got one chef on and there's already a half hour wait for food if you're seated. Huge restaurant, menu looks decent, attached to a hotel so you think they'd have servers on hand. This place is bleeding money by the ton with all the business they turn away.

Good food, you have a wide variety of meat dishes to choose from in the menu. Real grilled taste. Staff is nice and friendly.

Good old fashioned Beef Eater! I can remember these places from when i was a young lad! (29 now)! Nice place, nice staff, nice food. We`ve been visiting this particular beefeater for about 6 years or more now. Its the first place that comes to mind when we want to go for a nice steak. They have quite a lot on the menu to choose from, its not all just about the steaks here. As its a Premier Inn hotel too, it can get a bit busy, although its not always neccessary to book in advance. The bar is nice, well stocked and family friendly. There is also a bar menu if you cant be bothered with the whole sit down affair. Last time i went i was a little disappointed, mainly with the service. the girl serving was particularly miserable on this day, she did however look a little ill. dont think she should have been there! Price wise its not the cheapest place to grab a bite to eat, but, you do get what you pay for!
