Ye Olde Trip To Jerusalem - Nottingham

It was lovely the bar itself, the history, the location, and the service. We enjoyed the food while sitting under the shade of a large tree just outside the house and taking in the atmosphere. One thing though: we don’t really recommend their steak. It was too tough.

Easy to park get about for disabled, lovely, helpful informative staff, husband says the beer is excellent the food looked great too! No cash transactions, smallish loo, ground floor is fully accessible but rooms are built into the rock of Nottingham Castle used to be prison cells, so smallish but very old, first used in 1189! Historic, interesting lots of fun!

Without a doubt, one of the best pubs I have ever had the fortune to visit. It's an absolute stunning pub. You feel the history drinking here. Excellent selection of beers and very friendly staff members. Highly recommended, and if you are in Nottingham, make sure you visit. You will not be disappointed.

It is a very interesting place, I am glad we have been told to see The oldest pub in England Unique interior , nice sitting outside as well and quite satisfying food. The staff was very friendly. Always love visiting Ye Olde Trip! A fantastic place to rest for a while with a good pint, especially when the weather is nice. My friend and I spent most of the afternoon there in the garden bit, outside and decided this time to sit upstairs where the haunted Galleon rests silently in its box... what an area! If you get the chance to have a sit up there, it's definitely worth it! So much history in this place. We'd never had food here before, but will certainly be ordering again. Got the fish, chips and crushed peas which was fantastic! Fish was cooked really well, the chips were great as were the peas. I mean you can't get any better, than somewhere so full of history and character as this place. If you get the chance to stop off anytime, it's definitely worth it! And during the week it's even quieter, so a bonus!
